This pony was made for Sugar-n-Spice in a personl custom trade. She requested pink/black and a panda. This is what I came up with. Panda and bamboo stalk made out of Super Sculpey. (Panda Pony has now been returned to my possession)

Wow, I like this one too. The panda is adorable too.

I can't wait to finish the ponies I'm working on, so I can try something like this. Looks like fun but a lot more work than just painting.

Super Sculpey is easy to work with and doesn't harden till you bake it so you can take your time and do it over if needed.I also sketched out the bamboo symbol in pencil on this one as well.

I know where to find that. I've never tried Super Sculpey before so it'll be fun to experiment with. The bamboo looks very neat, I thought it was a stencil but realized that couldn't really work. Not on the hind leg of a pony.

I've thought of stencils but yeah I don't know how it would work without turning into a mess. I just use many coats with a small brush. Eventually you can acheive straight clean lines that way. It just takes time and patience.

Ok. I'll practice a lot. ^_^

BTW, what do you use to remove the eyes and designs the ponies come with? I've tried nail polish remover but it doesn't come off easily.

You have to use nail polish remover with acetone if thats what you have but its hard doing it that way. Buy straight acetone, which you should be able to get in the same section as the nail polish remover, from K-Mart or Wal-Mart or a beauty supply store. It does wonders and is so much easier.
